Obituary
It is with profound sadness the family of Keith Finlay Kennedy announce his unexpected passing on Thursday, Oct. 27th, 2022 at his home in Neepawa, Manitoba, at the age of 72. Keith was the middle son born on November 2nd, 1949 to Kenneth Grant and Joan Elizabeth (Finlay) Kennedy of Eden, Manitoba. He is survived by his three sons, Ryan (Onyinye), Travis (MacKenzie), and Blake as well as grandchildren Zachary, Alexander, and Naomi, and his wife Denise Kennedy whom he was married to for 39 years. He is remembered by his brothers, Grant of Vancouver, BC and Ken (Janice) of Child’s Lake, MB and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Keith was a farm boy raised on a mixed grain farm east of Eden. He loved everything about farming – the country life, seeding, haying, working with cattle, calving, and harvest. He was a hands-on person and was mechanically inclined repairing equipment to make do until the part arrived. He believed in working hard, doing the best job possible, and took pride in building a straight fence line. Keith was a Christian who believed in salvation through His Lord, Jesus Christ. He had a big heart for youth and for those who needed to know Christ’s love. Keith loved his family and there were many happy times spent fishing, camping, hosting family gatherings, and visiting with friends. He completed his class 1 driver’s license and drove truck. After selling the family farm in 2004 and moving to Neepawa, he continued to drive a semi to various places in the United States and across Manitoba and Saskatchewan making a living.

Keith was predeceased by his parents Ken and Joan Kennedy of Eden, MB. Funeral service was held on Saturday, November 19th at 1:00 from the Neepawa United and Anglican Church. If friends or family wish, a donation can be made to milesformentalhealth1@gmail.com. in Keith’s memory.
